MMCX

The ultra-miniature coaxial (MMCX) connector is similar but smaller than RF MCX connectors.

The MMCX connector has a rated mating cycle of 500 times and includes a locking mechanism that allows 360-degree rotation. It typically has a 50Ω impedance.

It supports frequencies up to 6 GHz.

The product is used in GPS, wireless communication, and test instruments. The MMCX connector is used in Wi-Fi PCMCIA cards as an antenna connector, or small devices (such as PDAs or GPS receivers) as the external GPS antenna connector, or in mobile phones for connecting external GSM antennas. Various brands of in-ear monitors also use them to connect cables to individual earpieces.
