The N-type connector is a durable connector that designed for high-frequency applications. It be design as screw type connection mechanism (5/8-24 UNEF), ensuring reliable connections and excellent electrical performance.
The 50 Ω version usually used for frequencies up to 11 GHz, but it also can support higher frequencies, reaching up to 18 GHz in some cases. Meanwhile, the version of impedance75 Ω can operate at frequencies up to 12 GHz. The 50 Ω and 75 Ω connectors are not interchangeable.
N-type connectors are widely used in equipment that deal with the high-frequency signals, such as wireless communication devices, antennas, and measurement instruments.
